Agnieszka Lau-Rzeczewska

Attorney-at-law · Bydgoszcz · OIRP BD-1442

Foreign currency loans, consumer bankruptcy, divorce, inheritance, company law. Matters that can no longer wait — handled from the first conversation to a final judgment.

About the office

Bydgoszcz, Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship

One office, your case from start to finish.

The law office represents private individuals and businesses. On one side — foreign currency loans, consumer bankruptcy, divorce, family matters, and inheritance. On the other — company formation and corporate services, contracts, commercial disputes, and residence and work permits for foreign nationals.

Your case is handled by one person — from the first conversation to a final judgment. You are not passed between departments and never have to explain your situation twice.

The office is based in Bydgoszcz, but location does not determine whether a case is taken on — I also appear before courts outside the region.

How a case proceeds

  1. § 1

    Conversation and document review

The first meeting establishes the facts and reviews the documents. It ends with an assessment of your legal position and the possible ways forward.

  2. § 2

    Choosing the path

A demand letter, negotiation, settlement, or lawsuit — the order depends on which route leads to the goal fastest in a given case.

  3. § 3

    Conducting the case

Representation before courts and authorities, correspondence with the other party, updates at every stage — until a final and binding conclusion.

  1. § 1

    Foreign currency loans (CHF, EUR)

Annulment of indexed and denominated foreign currency loan agreements — including when the bank is simultaneously suing for repayment of the loan principal. We start with an analysis of the agreement and the repayment history; only then does it become clear which claims are available. This applies to loans in Swiss francs, euros, and other foreign currencies.

  2. § 2

    Consumer bankruptcy

The bankruptcy petition, the repayment plan, and handling the case before the court and in dealings with the trustee. Before filing, we establish what bankruptcy would mean for your assets and whether it is the best route in your situation.

  3. § 3

    Civil law

Payment claims, contractual claims, real estate and easements, and inheritance cases — confirmation of inheritance, division of an estate, reserved share claims. I handle them from the demand letter and negotiations through to representation at trial.

  4. § 4

    Divorce and family law

Divorce and separation, child and spousal support, parental authority and contact with children, division of marital property. We establish what can be settled by agreement and what requires a hearing — that determines how long the case will take.

  5. § 5

    Business law

Formation and conversion of companies, commercial contracts, debt recovery, and shareholder disputes. Ongoing legal support or a one-off matter — depending on what the business currently needs.

  6. § 6

Work and residence permits for foreign nationals

Temporary and permanent residence permits, work permits, and residence cards — for foreign nationals and for the employers who hire them. We assemble the documents and handle all correspondence with the voivodeship office until the decision is issued.
